On todays episode, we’re taking a bit of a detour from the usual format, and interviewing someone better known for their behind the scenes work rather than an artist. Anyone whose been in the comments section of pony music in the last half decade would have been bound to have seen Makenshi, whose enthusiasm and passion for the scene is absolutely infectious! But you might not know that he's also involved in promoting music for Equestria Daily, Horse Music Herald and Cider Party, as well as having recently started his own compilation. In this interview, we chat about the role of music promoters and compilation heads, how he's seen the pony music scene change and what he's passionate about in the future!

General Mumble

Few musicians can claim to have both released their first brony remix in April of 2011 and still be contributing to the beating heart of the scene today. Co-running the Mumble etc record label with Koa, his many aliases span the full breadth of musical styles with a staggering level of diversity from soft chillout to metal, hardcore and electro. He’s performed at multiple Summer Sun Celebrations at BUCK, TrotCon and the Bass Ball at Whinny City Ponycon. As well as Mumble etc, he’s contributed to Balloon Party, Pinkamena Party and Ponies @ Dawn and taken part in many Toastbeards and Remix Wars. In episode 3, we chat with General Mumble!

JayB-Making Trance Anthems

From his first fandom release in December 2011, he’s always boasted tight and complex production and released anthems such as I Love Everything, 2 4 6 8 and Rain as well as remixing show tracks and other brony artists. He’s performed Galacon, Brony Fair, Lovemuffin, Lunafest and more! Itchigotchi - Early Ponies @ Dawn and the Australian brony community

On our first episode we interview Itchigotchi, longtime Ponies @ Dawn contributor and worlds #1 Princess Celestia fan!
